User Agreement

1. Authorized Use Only

Our Services simulate offensive security techniques. You may only use them against systems, networks, applications, or infrastructure that you own outright, or for which you hold explicit, documented written authorization from the owner. Submitting a free scan request or using any labs against a target you are not authorized to test is a violation of this Agreement and may constitute a criminal offense under applicable computer misuse laws in your jurisdiction.

We may request proof of authorization before acting on a scan request, and we reserve the right to decline any request at our sole discretion.

2. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

3. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Services to attack, scan, or test any system without proper authorization
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to Black Hat Brew's own infrastructure
• Share lab or scenario content in a way that violates any applicable license
• Misrepresent your identity or authorization when submitting a scan request

4. Free Scan Requests

Free scan requests are reviewed and performed manually by our team, not automatically. We do not guarantee a specific turnaround time, scope, or depth of testing for free requests. Submitting a request does not create a contractual obligation for us to perform the scan; we may decline any request, particularly where authorization cannot be verified.

5. No Warranty

The Services, including CTF labs and scan results, are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. A scan finding no critical issues does not constitute a certification of security and should not be relied upon as a substitute for a comprehensive, contracted penetration test.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Black Hat Brew is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services, including any damages resulting from unauthorized use of our Services against systems you did not have permission to test.

7. Changes to This Agreement

We may update this Agreement from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
